Joseph Garcia, Web Developer, will now spearhead this project. Web Communications is in close collaboration with UCSF and UC Davis in creating a shared base theme, which will be customizable for each UC’s specific branding elements.
This has been a great project in increasing our visibility amongst the other UCs. Web Communications meet annually with all UC IT web staff in October’s BadCamp training hosted at UC Berkely. The buildout started over a year ago and we’re ahead of the other UCs as far as development goes.
As we migrate sites to Yosemite, Derek continues to develop for Drupal 8 in which we will rebuild our Yosemite and Gateway site templates for the new system. Site-owners will not have much work on their end.
